This 21ft x 4.5ft custom live edge maple boardroom table was commissioned by Peak Products Canada — a large-format executive build designed to command the room and seat a full leadership team in comfort. The brief prioritized clean grain presentation, a warm natural finish, and a base that complemented the company's modern office interior.

Wood Species: Solid Hard Maple

Hard maple was selected for its refined, consistent grain structure and exceptional durability under heavy institutional use. The slab was hand-picked from our maple inventory for uniform figure and surface stability before any milling took place. At 21 feet, managing wood movement is as important as aesthetics — solid construction joinery was used throughout.

Construction & Finish

The table top was constructed from solid maple panels with precision-jointed seams, ensuring a flat, stable surface at scale. The hardwax oil finish was chosen for its low-sheen, tactile quality — it enhances the natural character of the maple without the plastic look of a high-gloss lacquer, and can be spot-repaired in the field.
